Sweating, full neck feeling, goiter visible, forhead feels swollen and eyes feel droopy

I have been on T3 and iodine.  They just did an ultrasound of my thyroid and said I had a mildley increased goiter that has a nodule.  No other tests have been done and I have been suffering from weight gain, Fatigue, Strange feelings of my heart stopping, shortness of breath, bouts of vomiting about every two weeks and yesterday diarrhea that was like water.  I'm tired of not knowing and just donating more and more money to my doctors retirement fund.

They did a cardiac workup and I passed, although I felt horrible after doing the stress test.  I have a past history of Lyme Disease and a current positive for Babesia.  What is making me feel crummy?  I am being treated with Biaxin and with Flagyl for the Babesia.  Also, I formerly had H Pylori.

I hope you can help.  Thanks roxyroxy

Also wanted to add that as I am sure you know- when treating a current lyme infection especially babesia - one of the worst- you will always feel much worse before feeling bettter. Your body is trying to rid itself of all the toxins invading it's space.
You can check out lymenet. org for more info on symptoms and support.

  best wishes

Taking flagyl will completely wipe out all the good bacteria your body needs to digest and process your food. You have to replenish the good bacteria with acidophilus/ probiotics. I think these are symptoms of your babesia which you are currently being treated for and less likely to be thyroid.

I am curious though  Why are you taking T3?  What is your thyroid history? When were your last labs drawn?
