Thyroid testing

I am a 48 year old female that has experienced the following problems that occured within two weeks of each other.  Last July (2007) I experienced what appeared to be severe heart palpiations (I do have a cardiac arrhythmia), I went to the ER, underwent several tests and was told to visit a cardiologist for follow up, no real danger.  I also had an anxiety attack that night (I didn't know what it was because I had never experienced one before).  Two weeks later I had extreme pain in my stomach followed by acid reflux.  Toward the end of the month I realized I was not having my menstrual cycle.
I had the endoscopy for my stomach, blood tests, he diagnosed gastritis. My gynecologist said I was probably going through menopause as well.
This past week I had the holter test (more issues with what appeared to be palpitations), I was told it was VPD's.  I am still having problems with my stomach and taking Nexium. I have not had my menstrual cycle for one year.
When I have a hot flasha it seems to make the VPD's worse (some times). There are times when I feel like there is something in my throat; my doctor said this is due to acid relux or palpitations.

I have had several blood test for my thyroid and they all come back fine, I have read that blood testing is not always accurate.  I take propranolol for the cardiac arrhythmia and read this drug can interfere with this test.
My question; could ALL of my issues be related to my thyroid?  If so, what can I do?

I had the testing, came back fine.  I recently read doctor's should not diagnose with blood test, they are not always acurate.

Only way to really tell is blood work to start

TSH - Free T3 and Free T4 test will confime or rule out thyroid disorders.

Just my thought - but Nexium is a big scam and causes more grief that healing.
