I am still in wedding mode.
Morning all.
Well the weekend is over - What an event!
In case some read this and do not know - I hosted a garden wedding at my house this past weekend. My role on this was
All decorations in the tent and dinner settings and yard prep/
Food preparation
Floral designing all bouquets
Garage was set up at a "lounge" bar area.
I even Dj'd the wedding too with the help of my sons. ( NEVER would I pick THAT job as a carreer)
Exhausted - but it went great.
I had a bit of thyroid swelling Friday and Saturday - but I think it was stress related. ( as I suspect causes mine at times)
Pulled this off with a total of just under 100 people - feed 60 people and the rest followed later.
Still a bit sleepy and I have to work today - I'll be back on Tues or Wed.

Awww that's so great to hear! Congrats on pulling that off! My aunt just arranged a whole wedding reception and I heard a lot about it...it definitely sounds intense, so kudos!! Even more impressive given that you're sick.

She married a man 15 months ago and he left for Afganastan (sp) 2 days after they were married
He got back 2 weeks before the event at my home - They renewed their vows and had the reception they always wanted.
