goiter with nodules

i have a goiter with nodules- taking iodoral, has it helped anyone shink goiter and nodules?

yes I was advised by my PCP to take iodoral 50mg a day, no I don't have graves or hashimotos, I am not hyperthyroid or hypo, my thyroid levels are good so far, so no I am not taking medication, I am only taking the iodoral, thyro plus & some other thyroid supplements that are supposed to be natural, oh but I do have a goiter & some nodules like a said before, & according to my PCP the supplements I am currently taking will make he goiter and nodules go back to normal.

Yes, I did have a Total Thyroidectomy (TT). I regret it wholeheartedly, but i had no choice other than repeating an ultrasound every six months, which i didn't want to do and would still end up having to have my thyroid removed.

Yes, TT stands for total thyroidectomy...surgical removal of the entire thyroid gland.

Do you know whay you have nodules?  Do you have Hashimoto's thyroiditis or Graves' disease. Depending on the cause of the nodules, iodine supplements can make the condition worse.  Were you advised by your doctor to take this?

Are you taking any thyroid meds?

I also had a goiter with nodules but ended up having a TT due to the abnormal cells within the nodules. Beforehand, I took goiterex, which did shrink my nodules abit.
