I don't know the lab range for your t4, or if it is a Total T4 or a Free T4, so I don't know what yout hormone level is.

Your TSH is high for someone on Levothyroxine. It should be closer to 1.5. You are slightly Hypo, enough to give you symptoms.

Your Doctor should increase your Levo. If you are taking a generic, you should ask to be switched to a name brand drug.

Thanks so much for trying to help.

Just called the doctor and he gave me the result of my TSH AND T4.
The last time i had a blood test was on the 21st of february 2008.
T4 = 15.4
TSH = 4.15
No T3 has been done so i requested it to be done in a few week.

I really don't understand any of these numbers.
Thanks again AR-10.
Because I'm so desperate these days i'm glood to the computer for any help since my doctors don't care.

If a doctor tells you to keep taking a drug that is going to harm you, then you know that is another doctor to never go back to.

Carpal tunnel can be brought on by hypothyroidism. My guess is you are not being tested often enough and you very seldom have the correct amount of hormones.

You're probably hypo all the time and the tests come back "within normal limits", which is a meaningless crock of bull, but the doctor doesn't care.

But that is all cynical guessing on my part. Do you know what your last few TSH tests and Free T4 tests have shown? Do you get more than one a year?
