heartburn

I am getting terrible heart burn with everything I eat.it feels like it did before aI had my goiter out.I will tqalk to the doc about this when I see him nextbut I am scared my thyroid tissue is growing and making me have the heartburn.Do any of you have any thoghts on this?

Heartburn can come from when a particular valve/muscle (sphincter I think ??) is too relaxed and, thus, you get symptoms.  It may be that the meds are relaxing everything a bit more than usual still and, thus, along with some anxiety that must be there if even underlying, can be a trigger for the nasty thing to rear its head.

My son was on Prevacid for 3 yrs with severe reflux (GER)and finally outgrew it .... I have too much exp. with reflux in my kids.

I had some problem like this for about 2 weeks after the surgery.  My doctor felt it had something to do with the anesthetic...
