Will I get any side effects/returning symptoms after reducing Carbimazole??!

Hi everyone,
I'm a 23 yearl old female and I was diagnosed with an overactive thyroid back in march 2014. Until yesterday I was on 20mg of carbimazole but I am now on 10mg a day due to my levels being back to nearly normal. Just wanted to know will the horrible symptoms return? Is it too soon to be reduced so quickly? Has anyone had any problems reducing carbimazole by half? I have also been told by my endo to stop taking proponolol (80mg once a day) without being “weaned” I've heard that this is unsafe? Bit worried and anxious as I've been feeling well the past few weeks don't want to go back to square one :(

what was the root cause of hyperthyroidism?
Grave's disease, thyroiditis, toxic adenoma?

Please post the actual results of your thyroid blood work.  Include reference ranges as they vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report.

Are you having any hypo symptoms?

I agree with you.  I'm on a beta blocker, too, and everything I've read says you wean off of them.  I'd want to take that slowly.
