please explain ultra sound results

just had ultra sound done last week and wondered can you explain results to me please??
The right thyroid lobe measures 5.1x2.0x2.1cm and the left measures 4.9x2.0x2.2cm. the parenchyma is diffusely heterogeneous bilaterally. At the upper pole on the right there is a 6x6x4mm hyperechoic nodule. No other focal lesions are seen. The isthmus is thickened at 8mm. There is overall increased vascular flow bilaterally.
Multiple small lymph nodes are present in the anterior chains bilaterally but these measure up to only about 5mm in short axis and are not enlarged by imaging criteria and maintain a benign appearance.
Impression: bulky heterogeneous hypervascular thyroid gland likely due to thyroiditis. A small nodule is present at the upper pole of the right lobe, and is of low likelihood to be clinically significant but as a precaution a follow up ultrasound is recommended in 6 months...
I have just recently found out I have hashimoto's but know I have been battling symptoms for many many years now that I know a little bit about what has been going on in my body
thank you
