thyroid disorders can threaten a person's life - but cancer is not the cause for alot of patients. Its a condition of hormones.

A TSH of 70.00 is confusing with your hyPER - thoughts that is not hyper - its HYpO.

Hi, Don't be afraid it's not a kind of cancer, although you can get cancer of the thyroid. Have a talk to a good doctor to ease your mind because I sense you are very scared. A lot of people have thyroid problems. My mum has it and I feel for anyone that has it too. Look into different diets, there are some foods to avoid talk to your doctor about vitamin and mineral supplements. Take care, God bless.

If your TSH is 70.00 then you are HYPOTHYROID and Not Hyperthroid.
Which means your thyroid is not functioning properly.

Was it a typing mistake on yr part about the TSH being 70.00?
