I'm sorry to hear you're having some pain. I wish you to be "whole" again very soon. At least you know what direction to take & are being extremely proactive.
I think We're gonna have to change your name to Mrs. Potato Head! Your parts are falling off and being put back together so often!
Wishing you a good week with good news.

LOL .. that was good one ... actually, the ankle has been bothering me on/off the past week .....
Mr. Pototao Head .... remember that game? Now all replaced by video this and that for the kids .... what a world!
Pssst .. the other thing is that my Dr. fully expected me to have problems with stools being on the Levaquin 500mgs for so long ........I'm not at all and had to remind him that I'm on the laxative on top of all this ... so I think that tells it all .. TSH must be up with the ankle joint and still on laxative with this antibiotic that is known to cause issues in the "other" dept.
Maybe I'll be surprised and the TSH will be normal .. hey, who knows right!

Cheryl,
Your comment about your ankle pain caught my attention because I am having, perhaps, the same issue!
I don't know your story, but is your pain right above your ankle bone, and does it just feel real tender and almost inflammed?
I am just trying to learn more about what all hypothyroidism can cause! My pain is not so severe that I can not walk, but it is always there, kind of like a tooth-ache! Tell me more about what you experience.
Thanks!
It is a severe muscle spasm but not like a charlie horse .. I thought it was tendon pain but my Primary Dr. and Endo both told me it is a muscle .. it hurts so so so much and limits my range of motion so much. Hurts to the touch like inflammed but not red or sore looking ..... it doesn't cramp up like a charlie horse in the calf of leg .. not like that .. this is muscle pain yet no straining the day or day before done to trigger it .. also, anti inflammatories do nothing to help it .. I had some and did a trial when this all started last year and it did nothing and they were full prescription meds for a tennis elbow that I had leftover.
Interesting the doc said was from the hypo and not me .. now it makes sense!

BTW, meant to mention it is in the inside of my ankle where the big bone from the leg meets the ankle and a bit below there.
