solid thyroid nodules and back of head fullness

Hi, I was recently diagnosed with 7 nodules spread on both lobes of thyroid, four of which are solid. Five nodes are on the right side) For several months I have had a pressure/fullness and heaviness on the right side lower back of head area with lymph nodes swollen continually and migraines on right side of head.  Am waiting an appointment with an endocrinologist for needle aspiration. I also had teenage radiation for acne which was in the mid 70's.  Are these symptoms part of this whole thyroid problem?.

Tell the endo about the radiation - there is a correlation between that and thyroid cancer.  What did the ultrasound say (besides solid)?  Any calcification, increased vascularization, complex nodules??    With the solid nodules, lymph node involvement, and history of radiation as a teenager, please don't let your endocrinologist just "pooh-pooh" it.

While you are waiting for endo, I would go to the PCP and have him check out the lymph glands.  You might have some kind of infection that has nothing to do with the thyroid and could become worse.  Just my suggestion.
