Bladder cramping/pains

I am a 16 year old male, and sometimes in the day I have almost cramping-like pains in my bladder, they usually happen once a day, and sometimes when it happens my bladder it empty or near empty. It can last between short 15 min. spells to nearly or slightly over an hour and a half. What could this be?

I think you mean you have cramp like pain in lower abdomen in the bladder area. This could be due to infection in urinary bladder or a stone in the bladder. It could also be a kidney infection or a stone. There could be a stone in the ureters (pipes that carry urine from kidney to bladder. You may need to take some tests like urine examination or ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis.
You should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining and tests to confirm it. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted.
