Repetitive strain injury (chronic)

Repetitive strain injury (chronic)

Hello, I used to lift weights on an amateur level for about 4 years.   I would foolishly lift rather heavy weights (180 lbs) in a deadlift for (pick it up strait off the ground with knees bent and pull weight to your waist) usually the pressure is supposed to be mostly in the lumbar area if this is done exactly right but many time I would pull my upper back "out of wack" and all the time I would watch the muscles around my cervical/cranial junction work so hard that they would be literally shaking like crazy.    I never had a severe injury that didn't fix its self in a few days but I'm wondering if this could have or even likely contributed to me developing a chronic daily pressure headache syndrome.  I wonder if I damaged some cartalige in my vertebrae or something?   At first the pain was waking me up at night with vertigo and tinnitus like crazy, but now its just a stiff neck and pressure headache 24/7.   By stretching and re positioning my neck there is relief of the tension feeling in my forehead.     Could I have messed something up by this.    I have stopped lifting weights completely in hopes that my body will heal its self.  By the way a week before this started I pulled my entire back in a strange way, my whole thorasic region was extremely stiff and painful and I had to crack it every few minutes for any relief. then a week later i got this chronic pressure headache and neck stiffnes..  Thanks for any help.
