Is Bipolar over diagnosed or just better identified now?
I sure see a lot of teens diagnosed with bipolar. I think there is so much overlap within mental health diagnosis that it can get confusing. What are your thoughts on this?
I don't really know, but ever since I started on Lamictal I felt better. It doesn't have side effects (on me) but the rest of my medications do though.
I will say one of the good things is all the alternatives for treatment in terms of medication they have now for bipolar. They've really done a good job at developing these and they are so much easier to take than older meds.
