does anyone know if you can call cps anomynously

I want to make a phone call to CPS about a sexual abuser who may or may not have children, but I want remain anomyous, does anyone know if I could do that?

I do believe that it's the law that CPS CAN'T give out any information about the person who called them to report an incident.  Even if you give them your name and everything they are NOT allowed to divulge that information.

Hello, I think you can remain anom. but to be able to follow up to the story you would have to give them your name so they could contact you about what is going on with that case. But if you dont give them a name then they would just toss it aside and they might take a look at it. The reason why i say this cause I have done the same thing he that is exactly what the man had told me that they would do. So that is from my personal experience recently but you can try. Yes you can. Even if you tell cps your name, they are not allowed to let anyone know who called them.  They have to investigate every single complaint, valid or not, according to law. Just tell them your fears and they will be on it like flies on doo doo.

I have no idea.. but you could try they will say if they need any personal details, if you think somneone is abusing a child very definatly get help ASAP..every minute counts so just do it ,let us know .Good luck
