I have a few mostly old. "Brother Can You Spare a Dime,"by various artists, a song that came out after the 1st World War, Neil Diamond's,"Sweet Caroline," I only put the names of two because my list is about 75 years long. I love music and have no problem listening to anything from opera to rap.
Why thank you Vicki....I guess I am ;-)
Jim
Jim--You're so romantic!! :)
"Wise up" by Aimee Mann - and "Stupid Girl" by Garbage. Great songs.
i love "no love" by eminem..i find strength in it...
this past week i have had a boy band thing..im talking NKOTB, backstreet boys, nsync, beatles, monkees, and yes even hanson but no beiber fever yet....ill know when i have a problem if i start to listen to justin beiber...ill keep yas posted!
I got a lot of favoites too, but right now I'm really liking "Beggin" by MadCon..... and anything by Seether, Pantera, and Fleetwood Mac.....
I love KD Lang's version of Alleluia..brings chills to my spine..And I'm not a big KD Lang fan..I'm a Grateful Dead, Allman Bros, Clapton and Springsteen fan.
But I love and can't get enough of Neil Young's "Harvest Moon". Takes me back in time several years ago, and old girlfriend (before I was married) and how wonderful the times we had were.
But give me a rockin' live version of Cadillac Ranch by Bruce, or "Johnny 99" or Glory Days, or a hot version of Sugar Magnolia or Truckin' by the Dead...or another one of my favorites...Standing on the Moon by the Dead "somewhere in San Francisco, on a back porch in July.."
Or... Frank Sinatra singing "Summer Wind" or Neil Diamond singing "Forever in Blue Jeans' or September Morn...takes me back to a time when taking a cross country train zipping through the desert somewhere in Utah, in the loung car, drinking wine..and hearing that song...I'll never forget that moment.
Jim
I've got a lot of favorites.
I love Canadians!! I really don't descriminate, though. If you're nice,I like ya! My Grandfather was reared in Canada, went to school there etc...then headed south because that's where my grandmother lived. Ah...love!
