lol. I love nauty's recipe.
I tried a recipe for makign homemade paly doh this weekend and used way too much food coloring, everything is either red or green!
I also made a standing rib roast with garlic potatoes and a killer salad i knind of threw together real quick:
lettuce
handful of red cabbage, chopped
heart of romaine lettuce chopped
red onion
tomatoes
green pepper, cubbed very fine
mix ingredients; splash with balsamic dressing and serve with fresh grated parmesan or asiago cheese--goes good with a bottle of good red wine!
My only recipe for the holidays is really not a recipe. but......
Open freezer
choose which you like, cheese, pepperoni, or deluxe
open box
remove from plastic
place in toaster oven at 350 for 20-30 minutes......
let stand for 5 minutes
Then Enjoy !!
Sorry thats my best contribution.............
Trouble..you have to stop...please..you don't know what you're doing to me.
Please. I beg of you..I'm drooling all over my shirt and keyboard and desk.
Jim
momm52- I'll see if i still have my bread pudding recipe handy to type up. havent made it in ages! Ive never made pumpkin fudge though so the best i can do is do a search on a site and post some variations of it if you'd like!
LOL Jim come on over I'll throw an extra stick of butter out on the plate for ya =)
Here's one I just made over the weekend- its a good side dish that will go well with many types of meals. I actually made it to go along with my tacos and spanish rice of all things! PS this recipe is very versatile- you can add extras in it like diced ham or chicken if you want, or serve it ala mexican style with salsa (we did since it was going with tacos) Or just serve it up just the way the recipe says..
Cheese & Sour Cream Potato Casserole
2 Lbs Frozen Hash Brown Potato Squares (thawed)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
8 oz package shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 small onion chopped small
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup melted butter
1 TBS parsley flakes
Mix all ingredients together in large mixing bowl (adding potatoes last for easy mixing)
Bake in large 9 x 13" casserole pan at 325 for 40 mins or until potatoes and onions are tender and bubbly. Can top with seasoned bread crumbs if desired.
Early AM and still awake. Recipes---sound so yummy. Don't have a recipe at present. Too comf. to get up. As a newcomer, I have a request if not out of order. Does anyone have or know of a recipe for Pumpkin Fudge? It is soooo good. Also a recipe for bread pudding. At at truckstop restaurant and they had the best and most moist bread pudding. All recipes I've found say to put slices of bread in bottom of dish etc. This one @ TS was like an egg custard( per spouse) The cook couldn't give recipe. If anyone has either let know. Thanks a Pumpkin.
