Hello,

I was on high doses of oxy and had to use suboxone to help me manage my life for the first year after. The thing is that while taking the subs you'll constantly feel owned by them, like they're running your life. They're no different than any other narc. Your best bet is to just quit cold turkey and get it over with. You'll have to go through it one way or another and there is nothing out there to take to get you through it without the withdrawal symptoms. There are OTC meds you can use like prilosec or imodium to help with the stomach, Multi-vitamins, b-12, etc... and if your stomach is really bad and OTC's don't help have your doc get you some bentyl or hyosiamine. Drink plenty of water/electrolytes, sleep when you can, eat as much as you can, and try to go for a walk for exercise because you won't feel like doing more than that for about a week. All these things can help make the transition go smoother. Stay strong and go clean. You will feel better and be happier.

Good luck and God bless!

Hi & Welcome,

I'm sorry your post was not answered, it is quiet today. It wasn't real clear to me---have you stopped using and begun withdrawal? Let us know where you are at and we can make some suggestions to you.

Hang in there.
