Congrats on your clean time!!  Yes you will feel better but it does take time.  Our mind and body really took a beating so it will take a bit to repair the damage.  Make sure you get up and move around as much as you can.  The fog will lift.  You did really well in flushing the pills too.  That shows real strength and determination.  Any aftercare plans?  That is highly recommended.......sara

Hey dude congrads on breaking out of your oxy addiction the first mo is the ruffest but it does get better by the day....it may take a wile b/4 your back up to your normal self
6yrs is a fairly long habit to break ....I did 10yrs on the pills then 6 1/2 on methadone
ive been clean 183 days now...it was a slow recovery prosess for me but im doing well now
you will notice improvements at 30 60 90 days clean but overall the more time you put between you and it the better you feel....try not to get discouraged ..you dident become
an addict over night its going to take a bit of time to come out of this thing...I wouldn't
think you did any permanent damage if I dident so I wouldn't sweat it just give it some time and you will begin to feel better...good luck and God bless......Gnarly

Great, great your doin awesome!! I really do feel good about what you have accomplished, no frigging kidding. Doesn't everybody notice that it's kinda differant, I get attached to people at this site much easier than on the street, it's sorta like meeting people on vacation, everybody has their best happy face on, I mean this well, obviouslly many of us are suffering in lot's of ways, but it's kinda like you know people here pretty fast? Maybe from so much in common? Excellant Brad, and thanks for the inspiration!! Your skin know's it's owner and it's tingling cuz it know's the boss is back!!

You said it girl! It was HELL!  but I made it, still feel a little funky but I think i'll make it.  I even had a full bottle of Endocet in my med cabinet and I flushed those little demmons away.  I am proud of myself.

YAY! i am so envious of what you have accomplished. I am on day three of a terrible roxy detox and am flipping out. I could not imagine going through a detox from what you were on. Also, my step mother had a bad oxy addiction and joined NA and is doing fabulous. She is on her 5th year drug free! Keep it up you are inspiration to us all!!!
