my daughter is a herion addict and is about to leave should i stop her?

my daughter has been to rehab 5 times. she is 21. the only way i allowed her to live with me is by her aggreeing to sign a sobriety contract, this will be the second time she broke it. the first time she aggreed to go back to rehab when i found out she had relapsed..... this time she chooses to leave and not go to rehab, to be homeless and be a heroin addict this is her choice.... i know there is nothing i can do, but it is hard to let her walk out the door and be a heroin addict....my question is am i doing the right thing? i know the answer is yes, but it hurts.

ADDICTION  is cunning baffling and porerful it is going to dictate what she will do nothing comes b/4 the drugs your just gfoing to have to trust God to take care of here .....I know this is ez said then done but its all youcan do till she wants help......my daughter went back 1/2 a dozen times but sooner or later they will want there life back right now she is chacing the high some say its better then sex try an alanon meeting google one in your area.....Gnarly

     It is so hard knowing that she intends to go out on the streets as use heroin instead of try to get better.... i just dont know how to help her.... i cant believe she left.

HI welcome to the forum......I for one know your pain my daughter became a crack/methamphetamine addict at the ripe old age of 13 and hit the streets.....she was in trouble with the law and would rather live on the street then in jail we would go for weeks sometimes months without hearing from her this was a particularly dark part of our lives your helpless to do anything....I would go in and out of the crack houses looking for her.....sometimes finding her a mear shell of the girl I once new it took a near fatal auto accedent and 2yr in Jail for her to find recovery but today she is 23 a mom of 2 and clean and sober it was a ruff road I highly recamend alanon to you it will give you some support and help you draw boundarys and not enable her but untill she wants to get clean there really is nothing you can do we did the rehab thing to but it dident work till she was ready she now lives with 2 steel rods in her back and is in constant pain from the reck a tuff lesson to learn but she makes the best of it so dont give up hope pray to God with all your heart that he protect her you can always come here for support god luck and God bless.......Gnarly
