Hi! I'm glad you posted, but I have to tell you that I had a little at "slightly addicted to oxycontin!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I guess I have never been slightly addicted to anything!! : ) I'm kidding you a little. Sorry. Back to business....
Yes, advice. Stay hydrated with gatorade and apple juice. That will help RLS and cramps too. Use epsom salts in your bath several times a day if needed. It helps muscle aches, cramps and chills. Helped my anxiety too! Eat bland food. Take a mag/cal supplement. Hylands restful legs and leg cramps for the RLS. Heating pad and advil for pain and aches.
Let us know your symptoms, and we can give you some more ideas! I'll be cheering for you!!!
Hi, an welcome to the forum,
Firstly you should have a look at the health pages on the top right of your screen. Look at the Thomas recipe and the Amino acid protocol. I know you've been through this before, but these remedies and supplements will take the edge of the withdrawal for you.
Stock up on otc medicines like Paracetamol (Tylenol) and Ibuprofen (Advil) for aches and pains, Imodium for diarrhoea and also RLS remedy. Your healthfood store will sell you 5HTP, and you should get both Valerian and Melatonin to help you sleep.
You will get all the information, help, advice and support that you could ever need, right here on the forum. Post back often, and if you have any questions, ask away. There'll always be someone here who can answer them.
Wishing you the very best of luck.
