How were YOUR first 24 hours, Sandrab?? I'm feeling a little tired, had a crazy dream last night, but I'm functional. Hope you're ok.

LOL, we're a sad bunch and we don't know it until its already ruined at least aspects of our lives. We don't even realize we can't physically stop because our brain craves them. It's like walking down the street without regard for where you're at, then you suddenly realize you're in a dangerous part of town. And once you realize it, you have no idea how to get back home because it's not as if you can just walk directly back. There's suddenly road construction and all kinds of dangerous obstacles so you have to be smart enough to ask the right person for directions. Then listen closely and do what he says. Love my analogies!

Good luck to you quitting.   I have a friend who is on Adderall.   She wears a size 0.   Her legs look like pipe cleaners.   I don't think she will ever quit though.    She likes how they make her work.   I have been by her house at 11 pm and she is outside mowing the grass in the dark.   She lives on beer, cigarettes and Adderall.   I'm worried about her, but she doesn't see it as a problem, and she doesn't see herself as being so thin.   She is 52 years old and she looks 20 years older.

I'm right there with you. Identical circumstances. Took my last 30mgs this afternoon. But I've been through the withdrawals and for me, they amounted to extreme fatigue, which began to fade after about three days. At that point, it started to get my energy and motivation back a little bit more each day. I would also expect depression and possibly anxiety. Definitely cravings. Are you going to enter an in or outpatient treatment program?
