Ive smoked on and off my entire life, when I was younger I had a harder time quitting and often thought Id never be able to consistently and completely quit. After having to quit so many times due to getting hired for a job, its become easy to quit for a certain amount of months sometimes years. But Ive always found myself back smoking occasionally, but never daily usage anymore. It gets me more paranoid and anxious actually now, exactly the opposite of before. The one factor that scared me about smoking herb was when I saw the lungs of a life time weed smoker, completely black and clogged just like tobacco. I had always thought that weed didnt harm our bodies that bad, but just look at all the resin that is left over in your smoking untensils and imagine thats just how your lungs probably look. If you have problems sleeping, for me 5mg melatonin pills really helped with the occasional unisom. It really is just a mental dependence that you can overcome, it does take determination but honestly it gets better real quick. Within a week depending, your cravings will really decline, anything to keep your mind occupied will help. Always the best thing in any sort of detox is excercise, sweating really helps cleanse our bodies. I know with two kids you may have little time, and getting the energy for excercise is so tough to get into routine, but even a brisk 30-60min walk by yourself to decompress may help relax you. A wide spectrum B multi-vitamin could help with energy, amino acids are also beneficial. If your problems persist for longer than 4-6wks it may be best to consult a physician, if your having continued anger and anxiety issues they may be able to help. Just to be clear I havent smoked for atleast 1yr, I dont know exactly how long but Ive finally realized that I didnt need it along with many other drugs aswell. I hope you find some answers that will help you, best of luck, Take Care!!!

it is mental battle...and when you dont give your brain that high it is pizzed...there will be some really bad days...but you have to dredge through them to get where you want to be....yes your children deserve a sober mom....but you also deserve to be happy and drug free...when you feel angry come here and vent it out in your journal...just refuse to smoke.  no matter what your mind says, dont give in...try it for a week...you will be so proud of you you will wnat to keep going....

since weed has no physical w/ds symptoms and its all mental, you just have to be determined to quit.  i smoked for 15 years and one day quit. mean new friends and no contacts you can buy from.....get a hobby something to keep you busy....also go to some na meetings...they really help alot.....good luck and keep us posted
