yeah both help promote positive mood and energy. and don't worry, soon enough you'll be back to where you won't even need to be taking them to get energy anymore :)
I know b12 gives me a little energy. I know if I take it later in the day, I cant sleep! I had a b12 shot once and didnt sleep all night. (i had gastric bypass and i have to take b12 anyway...always have). Does b6 somewhat give you a little boost too? (I need all i can get!)
Mama, both are amino acids that go to your brain and help get things going that were shut down during our abuse of the opiates. Both effect a different part of the brain, but both are absolutely great to take.
Vitamin B-6 is essential for neurotransmitter synthesis, and impacts the brain's levels of the mood controlling neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine, (according to the Office of Dietary Supplements). On the other hand, vitamin B-12 is related to memory, with low levels of B-12 associated with both dementia and Alzheimer's disease. On a normal basis it is usually actually highly recommended to take all b vitamins together, and that's when they will also work best.
