Why are you being prescribed suboxone?
Not because of addiction to kratom?
$ mgs is a good amount of subs for the day.
After a few weeks you will be dependent  or addicted. You will need to taper down to get off more comfortably .

The doctor said to start with an eighth of a patch..I might just try to taper off of kratom first

After 30 days at 8 mgs a day of suboxone you will have a worse addiction than the kratom.

Kratom will seem like a picnic compared to what the subs will be if you take them for 30 days.  The wd's are much worse and last longer.  This doctor needs to be better educated.

Exactly right! Wd's from subs are no picnic and u can get off Kratom with subs within 2 weeks if done right. If u have a low tolerance try a 1/4 of ur dose, in most cases it's enough to take the edge off. If after an hour ur still feeling the wd's take another 1/4. Half should def be enough to feel normal...I know plenty of ppl that take 8mg of subs and they're high as a kite!
