Can sniffing and eating powder cocaine cause neuropathy????

About a month and a half ago I went on a 2 day cocaine binge sniffing (then eating powder cocaine mixed with NSAID). I think I had a Transient Ischemic Attack and the left side of my body was full of tingling and pins and needles. After about 30 min to an hour the symptoms went away and I was fine until two weeks later.

Two weeks later my left toes felt like it had a band around it and the tingling was out of control. The tingling moved to the back of my leg a little as well. Two weeks after that my toes only have a mild tingle and my leg tingles mildly as well. During my cocaine binge I was doing a lot of weird bending and stretching, but I have no back or spine pain?????? Has this ever happened to anyone else?????? Is this neuropathy since I did eat some of the powder cocaine in a very high rage??????  I don't see a neurologist until November and the tingling has gotten a little better, but I'm scared I have neuropathy from tasting to much powder. Before my 2 day binge I was clean and sober from all drugs for four years straight.

IBK is right, you need medical attention, and need to stop "guessing".  You THINK you hd a mini stroke?  You should have been evaluated the day you thought you had one, any chance of an intervention now is gone, those kinds of events needs treated asap.  Stroke symptoms indicate a medical emergency, you should have gone to the ER immediately.

I'm telling you that health wise, cocaine is about THE worst drug out there.  It will cause seizures, strokes, heart problems, sudden cardiac death, bleeding, hypertension, and a whole bunch of other things.  You're already having signs that possibly there has been some kind of damage.  Not to mentionm, coke is cut with unbelievably scary toxic chemicals, all which are dangerous in their own right.

I would strongly urge you not to wait until November, you need assessed before that.  Call your Neuro's office and explain your situation.  If they can't see you in a timely manner, within a day or two, then head to the ER or your PCP, something.  This isn't something you should be guessing at, or messing with.

You have two posts going in here now. And you had this conversation back in August. You may want to look at that post again.

No one could possibly diagnose this on the internet. Keep your appointment.
