Hello, just wanted to say that I'm currently off the crap lol attending local meetings every friday..not specifically NA, but drug abuse ones.They are FANTASTIC.

I want to also mention I have gotten through the hell of taking care of my bf who had surgery and by the grace of god MADE IT! He's doing well.

Thanks to everyone who posted on my earlier messages. I have just been looking through my old ones and felt I needed an update given :))))

Way to go Girl..I was thinking about you and how you are doing..I can tell by this post you seem much better..We know it is not easy in many, many ways but we all have to stick together and tough it out! In a few years we can look back and really know how to help the people who our still on the Yo-Yo Ride..I am still having this now and then..I sure pray it does get better in that way.Ha!!! lol Keep it up there Girl you Rock!

Thanks for your comments!So kind :) Yes, I also believe that if it wasn't for his surgery, which WAS hell, as was/is the aftercare...I may have not been able to make it THIS far in my recovery for myself lol..weird how life works..

Karen - congratulations on 45 days!  And thank you for the positive and inspiring post.  I know you have fought hard for this; and then having to support your bf through surgery....had to be tough.  But you did it - you are an amazing success story.  Very glad to hear that you are going to the meetings too and enjoying them so much.  Could not be happier for you my friend; keep it up :)

hey  congrats on kicking the habit   the meetings will help  im a big beliver in N/A it works if you work it but there are several kinds of meeting that are good the main thing is you not trying to tackle this alone keep us up to date post your clean time it helps the newbees know its possible good luck and God bless............Gnarly............................
