I just realized something

Popping a pill is too easy to hide from all around you.  If it was something like smoking where others around you could smell it, see it, etc., maybe we'd all be better off.  It would be a lot harder to hide, therefore making it harder to take and get away with it. Just my thoughts for the day.

Darn.

Oh, and I'm still on my taper while home all weekend with my energetic, bubbly 4 year old.  Yay, me!  lol

Ya hit a nail on the head. It IS too easy, isn't it? Though I would say that for pain patients, Marijuana should be legal in EVERY state. No deaths ever from Marijuana overdose. No science to back up any claimed adverse effects that have been mistakenly spoon-fed to the public for over 80 years. Accepted to be a viable alternative to opiates in pain management in 17 states. I ask why not all 50 if we truly are a free society that governs with good and science, like our founding fathers did!
Non-Addictive. Unlike opiates, if taken for 5 years daily and abruptly stopped, there would be NO physical withdrawal symptoms. Has proven medicinal qualities in many arenas. Who would stand to lose if allowed?? BIG PHARMA that makes these evil pills!
Think about it logically and at the ballot box!

Secrets keep us sick. One of the other members told me that (Sarah) and I remind myself of that everyday. You need to be held accountable for your actions which is why I chose to tell my husband. You'd be suprised-they know more that you think. I told my husband that I thought that I was an addict and he says "Oh I knew that". I was stunned...really?

You are right...too easy to hide.  Secrets keep us sick.  It is a mantra I am trying to keep close to me.  When you crave  hug the kiddo.  My poor hubby and daughter got hugged so much when I was detoxing they started hiding from me!

You are right!  No one can see what ur doing or smell it.  It is much harder that way. Not having to hide it.  I'm on day 4 and it *****!
