there is no real easy way thru withdrawals. you answered your own question by saying, you get sick as a dog if you dont take your pills. you will experience withdrawals. Its not easy but you can do it, it will be tuff tho, taking care of children at the same time. and it will take a few days to get thru the worst of it. Can you go to a dr. and ask for help or go to a detox center for help?
Hi and Welcome...Good for you for wanting your life back! The w/d are not fun but as you are not on that high a dosage the duration/levels should not be too bad physically...Mentally is a whole other game. Just mentioned above support meetings...are they an option for you? Vitamins and supplements have been key to my recovery since detoxing off high dosage of opiates 31 days ago...The Thomas Recipe I used...Vitamin B6, B12, C, D, potassium and magnesium. Hydrate..hydrate..hydrate. Tell yourself and your kids you've got the flu...It should only be a few days 4-7 for most with 3-5 being the worst of it. You will feel a little better each day. I know the w/d are scary but honestly you'll be so much happier to get off the merry-go-round. You have to really want it. The only way out is through...Let us know whatever you need....Sending support....Lu
Addiction has its withdrawals but loritabs are not as strong as some other drugs so you 30 you maybe able to quit cold turkey do you go to any support group meetings if not you may want to try one you may like the support you will get this will help you. Your kids need their mother so do what you need to do to stay clean. It dont hurt to say a prayer. Let go let God. The Thomas recipe is at the bottom of the page on the right it will tell you what may help you with your wds. Hang in there. You can do it. I did.
