How long does this withrawal last..tell me!!!!

Ive been addicted to vics for three years, and tapered myself off from 4 a day. Felt horrible days 1 and 2. Day 3 was a bit better. Fell asleep good last night, but feel really bad today again. Haven't taken any today-but, took half a pill yesterday. Sooooo lathargic, legs are restless, and feel really beat down. Also super clamy. Is this gonna be an ongoing thing, or will I feel like my old self soon (whatever that felt like)...normal?

Endurance will take a while to build back up.The fact that on day 4 you had some good sleep is a huge plus.I would have killed for 30 minutes of good sleep that first week.Hang in there my friend,it takes some time, but you'll get there...Hugs...Kim

Hey Kim, thanks for getting back to me:) I flushed them yesterday morning, so no worries. I cleaned the house today and walked the dogs about 2 miles--do you think that is why i feel so awful. Should I not expect to have the endurance as I did for a few weeks?

You will start to feel better soon. You've past the half way mark so just hang in there.Try getting up and out and taking a walk.Exercise helps more then anything.I know it's hard to get moving but once your up it gets easier and afterwards you will feel much better. If you have any pills left it's best to flush them,if not you might be tempted and even taking a half of one is feeding that addiction.Best of luck to you...Kim
