Day 10 and feeling OK

Hello forum. I did a home C/T detox from oxy/hydro habit, 50-70 mg for around 7 months. started with back pain but
ended with using drugs to not feel. I'm FEELING today, and even though it ***** to come off this crap, I can say that some of the w/d symptoms are gone and others are fading. Imsomnia is still there, but I seem to be able to sleep for short periods when I really need it. I did the Thomas recipe and have been using the amino acid protocol as well.
I still get anxiety attacks, mood swings, stomach trouble, etc, just not so severe or often. I'm back working and I actually stayed out of my house for almost 6 hours yesterday!!! I was really wanting to get home and lay down
after that. So thanks to all who responded to my earlier posts...you know who you are...I appreciate the love and support. I'm in NA and I have a sponsor and I'm getting the 12-step workbook tonight from him and starting that
process. That's it. I will update in a while. Oh, and I might have to change my nickname if I keep this up, and I plan to, one day at a time; I'm no longer  "lost in hydroland" or anywhere else!

Thanks Bama!  as for aftercare...NA, and then MORE NA, also AA. I go to both now. It's the best "aftercare" there is, if you ask me.  That's just my opinion.  Sometimes I don't like it, but I go anyway. I have a sponsor with a similar history and story, and I call him a lot. I've been in therapy, but prefer
the 12 steps. It's so simple. Not easy, but simple.
