"your buddy will grow wings and watch over you like a star above."
That is so nice love it thanks for sharing
Michael
There never is a good time to quit. You've got to learn to live life on life's terms. Not our own....you pet loves you....let them go in peace....your buddy will grow wings and watch over you like a star above.
That's okay you just take care and know your dog loves you so much..My dog is the only family I have left I cannot even imagine what would happen if I lost him so my heart goes out to you more than you know..
much love
Michael
I do not have ANY pills left or scripts. My dr knows I'm trying to quit them, but I do know I could call at anytime and tell him I want to have them again. I told my husband about the script of fioricet and he insisted I call to cancel it. You guys with clean heads all think alike!:)
As for the video Michael, I appreciate it so much but I can't face that right now. Thank you though!
I have a video titled"We Will Miss You Support for Grieving the Death of a Pet"
If you are comfortable using your computer and the net I can upload this video and you can download it. The video is made for us pet lovers who have just lost a pet or will soon.
Best
Michael
I am very glad to hear that you told your husband. Good for you. It frees us to be open and honest. And we need all of the support that we can get. I am so sorry to hear that your dog is sick. I know how heartbreaking that is and how the furry guys are really a part of the family. Please don't use because of this. Like CIK said, there is never a 'good' time to quit. Life goes on around us whether we are using or not. Wouldn't it be a wonderful way to honor your dog by staying clean vs. using this illness as an excuse to use? I know this will bring up some very difficult emotions. Please reach out when you need to. Hang in there and stay strong.
Kudos for telling your husband! Now it's time to cancel that script sitting at the pharmacy, huh? And you have mentioned more than once that "one Vicodin" would ease things for you.....do you still have access to Vics?
Does your dr that generously prescribes addictive meds know yet that you are an addict? As long as your brain knows you have addictive meds available.....the voices will not stop.
I'm sorry to hear about your dog....and you ask what a time to quit, huh?
Just remember, "there is never a good time to quit, only the time you make to quit." and "If we wait until we're ready, we'll be waiting for the rest of our lives."
HANG IN THERE KIMBY. DO NOT GIVE UP.You are doing so great... Pills aren't the answer. We all have to learn new coping mechanisms. We can't turn to a pill every time something goes wrong. Your in the thick of it but just imagine how GREAT your gonna feel when you get to the other side of this. I am proud of you. I'm very sorry to hear about your dog. I know that is painful. I'm saying a prayer for you now.
