good hello from a norco guy

well i'm 29 and have been addicted to norco for about 2 years. i have tried to quit many times with no success. i will be trying again starting tomorrow. i've never talked with anyone in this same predicament before so im hoping to talk with some of you who are trying to quit/have quit abusing norco or similar drugs and if i make a friend or two then great.

Well, you're definitely not alone. But why wait until tomorrow? Why not start now?? I was heavily addicted to vicodin ES for over 15 years...now I have 78 clean days behind me!! If I can do it, believe me, ANYONE can...

Talking to people here is really helpful.  I am on day 33 off of vicodin and percocet.  I have gone off before and have always relasped.  This time I am getting help because
I have realized we may be able to get off but we cannot stay off without help.  Seek help and community here but also try to find some meetings, a counselor...something.  I actually discovered that my healcare provider had a whole chemical dependency recovery program that i am not attending and it is really helping.  I really think getting help is the only way we can learn to live and stay clean.  Good luck.  I know the first week will really suck (I was just there) but you will get through and use this site to help get you through!
