detoxing badly for past 4 Weeks-methadone

So I guess I need to tell a little history... Here goes, I've been on 70-80mgsmethadone per day for approx 12 years now. In december I started tapering due to needing money to pay bills. I got myself down to 10-20mgs a day thinking I was doing great. 4 Weeks ago I finally told my doctor I wanted off the methadone and to prescribe me oxycodone to help me get by. No problem, they gave me 80-some pills for a Weeks time to see if they worked. They were the 10mgs w/Tylenol. Did not even take care of a headache. Went back after a week bawling cuz I'm now coming out of my methadone haze. Yes, it takes almost a week due to.the time release in them and when they're built up in your system for so long it takes awhile. I got them to give me perc 30's. Now these work but I have since quit my job due to emotional stress and depression like you wouldn't believe and I had a boss who yelled at me for everything and nothing at all. When drugged up I could take.the abuse but not while detoxing. Told him to f-off and kicked up store and went home.

Uggh..anyway to stop a post when it accidentally gets posted. Anyways, I take 30.gd a day if that and that's cuz I went cold turkey off methadone when I was at 10-20mgs a day. I know replacing one for another isn't good but percocet is alot more mellow then meth so I figure I will use it as a temp crutch till I get thru the nasty withdraws of meth first then I can proceed to get off the percs. I can't do it cold turkey Al the way without going in a rehab facility. My body is very very tolerant to pain Meds that when I delivered my daughter 3yes ago no epidural injections worked, they kept topping it off every half hour till they then gave up. I had a hell of a painful delivery. Both my 2 babies were almost 10lbs thanks to my hubby! So they were not easy delivering. My first is what excellerated alot of already back damage to become worse. Finally had a spinal fusion 1.5yrs which seemed to have now given me nerve damage cuz my toes are numb and hurt?  Ok, I've blabbed enough for now. Thanks for listening.

HI  its never a good idea to use a narcotic to get off a narcotic your not going to heal your brain till you quit putting narcotics into it
you will start day 1 when you stop from there you will begin to heal
cominog off yrs of methadone is tuff I did it for 6 1/2 and thought it was going to kill me 90 days is realistic for long habits like ours
thats what it took for me but you GOT to get off the other stuff out your just going to lay in limbo till you do good  luck and God bless.........Gnarly

I'm confused - have you quit everything yet?  If not, please be really careful with those narcotics they're giving you - I don't really understand why they would give you narcotics to detox from methadone?  Isn't methadone used to detox from narcotics?  It's a vicious cycle - please be careful okay?

Wow I am butchering this bad. Sorry to all reading. I am obviously new and doing this from my cell. One more thing...how long does the withdraw last cuz I'm still feeling it bad and it's been just over a month. Ready to give up soon.......

Damn. Accidentally posted. How do I edit or can I? Shoulda put this as journal anywAys. ok.,question is how can I keep something in my stomach without taking Meds or imodium or whatever. I can't even drink water without running to bathroom within 15mins. Totally depressing....
