Almost thru the worst of it! Just tell yourself one more day then it's the weekend. I'm at work also today on day 5. It really stinks being here but you can do it. Plus I am actually pretty sick on top of it all.
You will have lingering effects tho but the worse is about over. I remember even at 30 days feeling some tiredness and slight stomach issues.
Word of advice, do some things that give you the most pleasure. FORCE yourself to do it. Music, sex, food, funny movies, working out, whatever it is you body needs to learn to release endorphins on its own. All of the above helped me heal without a doubt. Try to get s few minuets of fun stuff in here and there. It really helps out.
Ditto what 10356 wrote. I would bet that even today you may start feeling your symptoms lessen up some. I wrote on your other thread that the rls lasted quite awhile for me. I found a supplement and the natural food store called "Natural Calm" which is a magnesium citrate that helped tremendously. However, you must start with a small dose or you will aggravate the tummy issues. There is a bottled drink called Neuro that they carry at Target and some grocery stores in with the bottled waters and teas - the nighttime one has similar ingredients as the Natural Calm. Kind of expensive but I would drink 1/2 and it really helped. You are on your way okie ....don't give up now as your life without drugs is within reach!
Good Morning Okie.. Day 4 Congrats !!You are just about thru the physical wd It takes anywhere from 5 to 7 days. the rls may hang in a lil longer thou. Warm baths with Epson salt would help a lot by forcing magnesium into your muscles a long soak would feel wonderful as many as you can force yourself to take Hot showers will also help. Eating bananas drinking apple juice also their is a product called Hylands restful leg that helps a lot, it can be bought at any drug store our walmart. You are not going to want to hear this but by forcing yourself to walk move around as much as possible it will help with all the symptoms.. Getting outside and some sun if possible is also a big help.. You are almost there Okie You are on the down side of this now You can do this !! If you can walk walk walk it will help so much along with a Positive attitude You are kicking butt !! lesa
