Day 40 and feeling in control !

Hi people , Its day 40 and i`m doing pretty well . I still have the fear of the fear about anxiety . I would put that at about 85% free of anxiety . If I would have taken my dose of two or three 10/500`s like I was prescirbed my doctor says this probably would not have been so hard on me . Instead I would take two or three at a time just once a day . I guess the morale of the story is to take your meds as prescirbed . (LOL) Right ! I hope I can do just that in the future . I was taking 2 or 3 , 10/500`s a day 5 days a week for about 9 months. Second time for this . Did the samething before last year . Never been addicted to anything in my life . I tappered for about 3 days then just stopped ! No Suboxone just counseling . They said my habit was really not that bad  but I nipped it in the bud just in time .  For me the worst was the anxiety as I do have an anxiety disorder . (GAD) . You know its funny I didn`t have any problems with anxiety for years until this . No Meds (AD) or anything . Jimmy

Doesn't it feel great to get over the anxiety? I think that is the WORST part of the withdrawal process. But once your over that hump, and when you begin to deal with day-to-day stress without "help" you find that it really isn't as bad as you had thought.

Congrats Jimmy!!! you are an inspiration to many of us. I hope I can hit 40. How long were you on them and did you go c/t? Any suboxone/counseling?
