some benedryl at night might also help with the sleep issue and anxiety. don't take tylenol pm/advil pm and benedryl together at one time though. shoot me a pm if you need to!!

you can so do this!!! all you have to do is want it bad enough!! and you seem like you do so that is the first step!! the w/d time period varies for everyone. as mentioned above, you will basically feel physically horrible the first 5-7 days. he hardest thing for me physically was the moments of fatigue that would set in at different times throughout the day for the first 3 weeks. when i hit 3 weeks, i started feeling a whole lot better and somewhat normal. everyday gets better and better so keep fighting and don't give up!!
what helped me a lot was taking a vitamin B12 pill and multivitamin daily. the B12 helped a lot with energy. so go to the store and buy some B12. there are other supplements you can try that are listed in the "thomas receipe" located at the bottom of this page in the "most viewed health pages" section. i also took a muscle relaxer that i had on hand the first two nights of my cold turkey w/d that helped me relax and get a little bit of sleep within those days. try some tylenol pm or advil pm if you are unable to sleep at night due to the restless leg syndrome that w/d can cause.
keep fighting and posting!!!
you can totally do this!!

You can do it...how many do u take on a daily basis?
We are living proof that you can and will get thru wd's. It isnt fun but a necessary part in the recovery process. Keep posting and we will help you..........sara
You can do it!!!! For the first few days it can be rough anxiety at it's worst, do some deep breathing and keep yourself occupied mentally, do a craft or something to keep your hands busy. I am on day 9 getting of Vicodin and Today I just have alittle anxiety and craving for it. But please get off of it and stay off. It almost killed my liver and worst of all myself. IT is just not worth the long term dangers. The crazy thing is due to chronic back pain i had an endless scrpt for them. imagine that. Now i would rather be in pain than be high all day. Good luck to you!
can you go see a doctor, tell him the truth, get on the thomas recipe(bottom right of this page),and get your doctor to get you excused from work for a few days and maybe some valium just for the hard nights, not for recreation. that would be the best thing, but alot of people can't get all that done, and the supplements can be pricey. for me i was spastic, hot, cold, not hungry, couldn't sleep. like a wicked flu bug. hot baths help at any time day or night. you need someone you trust to help you go through this process. someone to staple you to the furniture when you feel like giving up. do you ahve anyone? we are here to help, but it's a long distance thing. keep posting, be as honest as you can. you are not alone, not by a long shot. peace. sway
You are going to be OK... WD symptoms are much like the flu and can be passed off as such although restless leg is a give away but most do not recognize this as they do not feel it.. It takes about a week to get over the physical.. day 3 and 4 being the worst.. after it takes a lil to get the energy back but you can quicken that by exercise work or what not even if you have to force yourself.. There are things you can purchase to make the process easier.. on the bottom right is the Thomas recipe for detox amios and vitamins to give you a boost.. keep reading the forum ask questions and receive support.. You can do this if you want it bad enough.. I wish you well.. lesa
