I'm so happy and proud for you....I love posts like these!!!!!....it keeps me encouraged to keep going....!!!
Well today is day 5 of withdrawls from norco the only thing I am really having a problem with is the anxiety and loss of sleep, but you know what I am going to hold strong on this I have done it before off perks now that was pure hell so coming off 5/325 of norcos seems alittle easier.Although I had support last time from my husband this time I dont he moved out 3 weeks ago after 10 yrs of marriage.I am a mother of 3 beautiful kids and they have given me the support I need.
Hey!!!
It's very nice to read of yet another who has decided to give up their pills. It's all yours if you want it.
Taper/coldturkey, they BOTH $uck!!!! Sounds like you have a plan though and that is good. If you can stick to the schedule it WILL be easier physically yet drawn out a little. Personally I could always be counted on to blow my taper plan right out of the water by the first dose, promising myself I would start "for real" on the 2nd. Wow, what madness. I think you know how the 2nd dose went :)
Very happy for you. Keep posting, we'd LOVE to see another success story around here!!!!!

Hi,
I tapered for three weeks before I stopped and then had some wds as well. Tapering is much easier on the body in my opinion. You are correct that the cravings will push your limits but tapering is not about getting the rush but eventually stopping and ridding yourself of the dependency on meds.
Sounds like you're doing great...
