Hey wow what a great idea! I'm going to add protein shakes too!
Hope, this is very, very good news! Great work. So proud of you. See..the only thing to fear was the fear...I guess FDR was right! Keep knockin' 'em back, my friend!
Now I'm really excited to get the protein shakes. I think they will help a lot especially since my appetite stinks right now. Nothing sounds good and the thought of food makes me nauseous.
Hi Great Job..Just keep on Truckin Forward and do not look back..I have used the Protein Powder for Years & Years now..I have a lot of wild berrys like huckleberry's I mix in Blender with it..Yum!!!! Berrys are antioxidant I think it spelled right..Ekkkkkk

I just wanted to say congrats on day 6! That's fantastic! Try not to psych yourself into thinking things will get worse. Stay positive and take it as it comes. You can make it through this! Keep fighting the good fight!
I use the muscle milk chocolate powder one and I mix it with rice or flax milk
You may start feeling VERY got soon. ;)
yeah yeah the protein shakes!. Gnarly is always talking about them and when I stop drinking them I end up feeling like I am lacking something and start sleeping more poorly. I even still feel like they help me at ten months almost. Get some!
I started drinking protein shakes, and it helped me a lot. I was starting to waste away. ;). It's a good idea.
Thanks guys. I will have to look for those protein shakes when we got to Walmart this weekend. When will I start to feel warm again?? I have been freezing this whole time.
Glad you are feeling better.I always had that faint feeling when in early detox. It went away so slowly that I did not notice exactly when it was gone
You are doing great.Keep it up pal

Sounds like you are well on your way to getting better pretty quick now. You had some low BP back a few days ago, I can imagine you'd be feeling dizzy. (I have the opposite problem) You've gone through quite a battle over the past months. It's sort of like recovering from a bad case of the flu, a BAD case!! It will take some time to get a full head of steam going. When you feel you can do some walking, maybe a little bit at a time? Start with 10 minute sessions only if you feel like it, when you feel like it. Like you said, baby steps.
That light you see at the end of the tunnel? Finally, it's not a freight train coming at you any more; it's truly the light of freedom.
You really have come a long way and should be so proud of yourself. It takes awhile for the energy and sleep and all that stuff we took for granted before, to return to "normal" (whatever that is, I'm still trying to figure it out!). That light at the end of the tunnel will keep getting brighter. Every minute you are putting in this now is worth the reward you will get in the end - a clean and healthy future. You are doing SO great; truly inspiring.....I wish you the very best - you deserve it :))
Thank you. Maybe that's why I was feeling dizzy. My bp was 100/58 when they took it a few days ago. I didn't think much of it until now. I have a bp cuff here somewhere. I need to find it and check myself. I have come a long way since February. I'm really excited for what the future holds :)
Hey Hope....so glad you are doing better today. You are DEFINITELY on the road and you are doing SO GOOD considering this WHOLE ordeal just started back in February. Give yourself the credit you deserve...you've worked SO hard to get off the F patch and now the subs!!
I wanted to share with you that when I got off the subs, my blood pressure was REALLY low (like 84/62 and 98/67....along those lines) for a few weeks. I got dizzy EVERY time I got up.....so I continued to monitor my B/P and REALLY increased my water and electrolyte drinks.....then went to the doctor, too just to have vitals, bloodwork, etc. checked out. FOR ME......it was part of my process.....I just learned I couldn't hop up from a seated or reclining position for a bit without doing it VERY slowly.... ....stablizing...and then walking to do what I needed to do. Mind you, I came off a VERY HIGH dose of subs unlike you. Weaver and I both agreed it took about 21 days for the subs to leave our systems. I personally think you will progress MUCH faster since you weaned yourself properly, with knowledge, and got yourself down to crumbs before you jumped off.
Your recovery journey has blessed me to read and watch....and I'M SO HAPPY for you......even if you have a "wave" here and there.....just rest assured "this too shall pass". and....hydrate, hydrate, hydrate...
It's a cinch by the inch.......and hard by the yard~
