Day 6 coming to an end

So it seems at this point of my detox my only remaining WDs from the norcos are minor leg cramps and insomnia. Only when I feel the sting and ache of these cramps do I crave.
I've tried hot baths with Epsom salt, vitamins, hylands restful legs, the pain is so constant and annoying at night it makes the insomnia worse. It feels like I wanna just stab my leg muscle and rip it out.
Tomorrow will be a week clean.
I'm happy about that but scared at the same time. I've been walking alooottt which helps but I guess not enough.
I feel like I'm losing my mind from lack of sleep. Nothing helps. No melatonin or valerian root helps me either. I'm beyondddd frustrated.
When will my sleep come back?
And these leg aches subside?

HI .....if I where you I would try the 3 in one vitamin calcium/magnesium/zinc that you can pick up at walmart for 6 bucks for 250....I took 4 with breakfast and 4 with dinner and It really cut down on the withdrawals ...as for sleep the only thing I found that worked was a really hot hot bath as hot as you can stand it...even if you can only lay in it 5 or 10 min jump out and lay on top of the covers and dry off in bed then let your self cool down slowly...this will relax you and help you sleep...right now just do the best you can and try not to get discouraged you will get past all of this but what I listed should help good luck and God bless,,,Gnarly

Hi, Insomnia for me was the worst on so many levels, and lingered the longest. I'd have to say for me realistically 2 weeks is when i noticed a real difference in my sleep.(over 2-3 hrs at a time). Have you tried Advil PM? It seemed to help me with both sleep and the aches.

I dont think theres anything that will just knock you out that first week. I tried EVERYTHING!!..lol. Dont give up on the Melatonin and Valerian. Stay away from caffeine and sugar after 4-5pm or earlier. Your sleep WILL return. As hard as it is... try not to get yourself worked up over it.

I too had a nasty hydro habit.. 15-20+ a day at its worst. I have to tell you losing sleep for a couple weeks was well worth the freedom i have now. Hang in there...it DOES get better.

Sorry to hear about you not being able to sleep. Have you tried Benadryl? That is what I take and its helped me a lot, but am very careful not to take it too much, mercy all I need is one more addiction.

Prayers going up for you.

Cissy
