I am past the halfway mark on day 7, I feel ok. Still a little restless but it's not as bad as a few days ago. I'm actually craving right now pretty bad which makes me anxious :-/ Just pushing through, I want the night to be over so I can start a new day tomorrow!
Wholefoods is where I got mine. They sell liquid and lozenges. Lozenges worked better for me.
I will have to pick up some rescue remedy, where did u buy it from? Haha I agree it's all about balance!
After a little over a week I could have a couple cups in the morning but I had to chew the rescue remedy lozenges at the same time. It's all about balance right!? Haha
For the last couple weeks I have even been able to drink it in the afternoon and still be fine. Chocolate as a late night snack still keeps me awake and twitching.
I hear you on that, next stop for me will be Overeaters Anonymous! I starting to taste and smell things a lot more now which can't be good! lol! I agree with you on the Gatorade I hate the low cal n my two favorites are lemon-lime and cool blue! Yummmm! :)
My new addiction is gatorade. I love the orange and lemon lime. It has to be the Performer series though. I hate the reduced calorie lol.
I am going to have to wean off of it. It's way too expensive and fattening.
If it's not one thing it's another lol.

Thanks for your kind words, I have had a pretty good appetite thru out the whole withdrawal so I have been eating, it does help quite a bit with energy I have noticed. I have been drinking Gatorade like its going out of style! lol :) Each day does seen better than the last and they aren't dragging along anymore like the first few days! I've cut my source, I only had 1 source. I feel good about things this time around! :)
7 days woohoo! Coffee contributed to my tummy trouble and jitters. Definitely limit it but don't get discouraged you will be able to drink it with no issues soon! Gaba and rescue remedy really helped me. Don't forget the breathing techniques! You are doing awesome!
Yes, yes take the imodium. If you are having tummy issues, it will help.
Sorry you couldn't get any valerian root but you should be able to make it through 2 more hours. I know work is such a trigger for you so I am rooting for you. Stay strong, I need you to.
Many congrats...If you've put your roadblocks in place, you will stay clean, and each and every day from this point on will get better. There will still be bad days (such is life), but you will face those with a clear head.
Try to eat as much as you can; your body has been through hell. It needs fuel to recover. Lots of liquids. And try to take walks.
The anxiety will pass, but you will find that the mental recovery takes a lot longer, and is much harder than the physical part. That's why this forum is so important.
Pat, they didn't have valerian root at the store by my work so I will just have to push on, I have 2 hours left at work, just got make it thru this.

I feel anxious and a little foggy. Is it ok to take Imodium on day 7? Haven't taken any since day 3 but having some tummy issues today.
That's what it's all about....ride the waves and keep going! I had to make a list and make myself work on one thing for a few minutes. I would say, "I will do this for fifteen minutes and then if I feel like stopping, I will." If 15 minutes sounds like too long, make it five minutes. There is something about getting up and moving in a constructive way that kicks in the motivation. Don't expect miracles....just work towards the long haul. It truly does help to work on something. It takes off the edge of the jitters and makes you feel hopeful. I don't really know how to explain it, but I felt like I would never be able to get up and work again without my pills...."for energy". Believe me....I am so much better off without them, and you will be too.

I will try to get out at lunch for some valerian root, I only drank half my coffee and dumped the rest out couldn't handle the jitters. Heading out soon for lunch!
Is there any way you can scoot out and get some valerian root? It is really supposed to help with anxiety. I know how difficult the anxiety is and don't want to see you suffer. Stop the caffeine too. It increases the anxiety.
I hear ya, there is so much to do at home that I need to do but just don't have the motivation to do so! I have anxiety today, and am getting those waves of withdrawal symptoms, just gonna keep on trucking through! Congrats on day 5 lady! So proud of you :) xox
Sonrissa, today isn't as good as I had hoped I am anxious, but I will get through it! I have made it 7 days no turning back now! So happy it's a short week, and you are right after working all day it does make my body a whole lot more tired! :) xox

Feel a little hungover but I slept well so I can't complain. No energy so I want to force myself to do a few things today.
