digital high five to you!
Thanks yall...you always find some way to calm me down.
Im so proud of you. Go kk go kk. Im most proud that your dedicated in staying sober. The key to staying sober is change. A change of thinking a change in lifestyle etc.
Doesn't it boost your dedication and willpower knowing you threw them out. Doesn't it reinforce your strength?
I completely get the anxiety and nerve about returning to school. But everyone gets nervous on their first day back to school. Even if its a semester change. That's a natural healthy feeling. So don't worry to much about that.
I've watched you grow so much so quickly. Im in awe of your commitment and strength. Keep up the good work. Doing the right things leads us to the right places. And that was a huge test. And you passed with extra credit.
Be kind to yourself today...and definitely reward yourself even if its a hot fudge Sunday. Something to reaffirm your new found sobriety and for flushing those pills. Find something to "Treat" yourself. High five.......bama
Ahh yes...The vulnerability...I am familiar(:
You are going to be great. The fear is normal and you will feel so much better once you are actually there and doing it. And then you will be so proud of yourself after. You have a much better chance at being at the 'top of your game' now that you are sober. You may have moments that challenge you, but you'll also have moments of clarity. You will do awesome. Take deep breaths and be proud of yourself. Don't put too much pressure on you...Take it one moment at a time....

Thanks! I just have a bit of anxiety today bc I'm going to class today (first time since last semester). I'm a senior at a major university so needless to say, classes are a bit challenging. I'm anxious bc I missed the 1st week & I'm already behind. Also, I still have that "brain fog" & I'm scared of being overwhelmed in class. I'm just always on top of my game & I feel a bit vulnerable right now.
Great job on flushing those! I am glad I don't have any bottles coming in the mail for me.lol and i am 127 days clean. It wopuld still be a hard thing to do even now so hats off to you.Keep up the good work
Hey KK
That's awesome. Good for you. I know you are having a tough time sleeping but I think you'll find getting back into your routine will help a lot. It will certainly distract you. I functioned at work on no sleep for awhile and I was always amazed at how much I was actually capable of. Just take it one moment at a time....
Proud of you...
