Help with Opiate Withdrawal Symptoms

My daughter is currently in her 2nd day of with drawel. Extreme pain, restless legs, jitters, vomiting, diarrhea...We went to the hospital last night and she was given a clonodine patch as well as an anti nausea med. she's taken many warm baths, heating pads etc, but still seems to be in extreme, extreme pain. Can anyone help?

Thank you all so very much. She's sleeping right now. I picked up some Immodium, Fish oil, B6 and a good multi vitamin, as well as jello, gatorades, ensure. She seems to be a tiny bit better...I'm giving her massages when her back gets really bad. My God, I have only seen this stuff on TV...really! I hope and pray this will be the silver lining as well, no parent should have to watch their child suffer  like this and no person deserves to suffer like this.
I'm trying hard to get the water into her. Hopefully tomorrow we can get her in to see her doctor and take it from there.

Definitely get some Immodium AD. For restless legs get Hylands Restful Legs at Walgreens or Walmart. Also get some Alteril for sleeping and relaxation, it's all natural and an OTC med.

Make sure she's drinking plenty of fluids, especially Gatorade! Epsom salts in a hot bath will really feel good.

Let us know how she's doing. You should be able to get all of this at Walmart.

Hi Taliwagger! I'm sorry your daughter is suffering! Everyone is different, but typically the worst of the withdrawal symptoms last about 5 days! Definately check out the Thomas Recipe! Make sure that she is staying very well hydrated! Lots of water and Gatorade! Also, Immodium will help with the stomach and bathroom issues! It also helps with other symptoms! For me, Immodium was key! Get her up and moving, if possible! Short walks outside, in the fresh air and sunshine!

Sweetheart I know this is so hard to watch.....Your child kicking dope at home. Yes go for the Thomas Recipe~I personally detoxed in a treatment Center and was given drugs to kick the drugs....insane right? Well back then they didn't know any better.... Praying for some relief and yet if it is bad enough maybe she will remember and get clean for sure....That would be awesome...the silver lining in all this.

Have you researched the Thomas Recipe? I never made it through until I used it right. It's at the bottom right hand corner of the page.
