I must be certifiable then....
Definition of insanity.....Continuing to do the same thing over and over and expecting different results~
What they said.very good responses..We are addicts and we want what we want.whether it be drug, work, gym, food, alcohol, etc etc etc....To get clean we all need to have determination, lots of will power and the want to not want the drug...Good luck,Oh and a good aftercare plan which starts with getting rid of all contacts that will hinder your program.
"Personally I have done it four times and every time it got worse. Why would I ever do it again????"
If this is a lesson you've learned, are going to take it to heart, and be bound and determined never to go through again, consider yourself lucky and a very smart person.
It's took me over 30 years before I figured it out, and many more than 4 times before I had enough of it.
HI and the answer is your a addict.... now you got 2 choices you can go to the biter ends, jails institutions or death or you can find a recovery program that works personally N/A has been keeping me drug free for quit some time if your honest with yourself the 12 steps will help keep you clean and if not your fu#$% without a recovery plan you only will need to change one thing....Everything the very way you think will have to change your best thinking got you here 4 times.... this is a deadly game we play I played it for many years but recovery is so much better this is life or death time to get clean work a recovery program and move into a new way of life good luck and God bless............Gnarly.......................
We do it again because our addict brains tell us we can handle it, just one more time for the gipper. Its a lie. So if we have not CUT ALL SOURCES its easy to buy into the lie. What are/were you taking friend?
Hey Big.
Are you in withdrawal now or just being hypothetical? I can't answer your questions for you but I think I do it because I hate anxiety so much. I hope my saving grace will be that last year I discovered the one thing I definitely hate more than anxiety - regret. We don't have to stay stuck in the cycle. What's going on with you today buddy?
