Does Ritalin help for Opiate Withdrawl?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if small dosage of Ritalin will help with Opiate withdrawl?

I would get adderall and everytime I would run out of my DOC I would get hopped up on Adderall and I didn't have any WD's. So in my opinion YES Ritalin and Adderall or any stimulants do help BUT It is dangerous and I would never tell somebody to try it. I am only saying from experience that for me it stopped them but not saying for you or anybody else to do that. Everybody is different and what works for one may not work for another.

Yes,  it is prescribed and for the first 9 days if withdrawl I had stopped this as well. I realize the seriousness of this pill as well which is I posted the question.

HI and welcome to the forum....unless your prescribed ritlin for add or adhd I wouldn't recommend taking any and if your prescribed you may want to give it a break it can realy ramp up the anxiety you feel wile detoxing...best bet is ask your doctor good luck and God bless...Gnarly
