Does it work?

Does anyone have any experience with the product "withdrawal ease"  if so what did you think?  Did it help you at all?  Would appreciate any info anyone has on this product and how they feel about it?

I currently take approx. 90mgs of oxycontin daily.  I tried tapering but i feel i'm just prolonging the inevitable and its agonizing, I just feel I want to get off of these pills and the sooner the better.  I start my ct on the last sat. of this month, then I have off til thursday  That's about all the time I could take off of work, hope the worst part of wd's are over by then.  This is gonna be harder than I ever could imagine as my bf who is diabetic just came home from the hospital from having two of his toes amputated.  He is so depressed and I just know this ct is even gonna be harder as i wanna keep my strength and spirits up for him!!!  I am determined to do this, despite everything, I am not gonna make his condition an excuse for me not to quit this #%#% pills!!!

You don't need something like that. Xanax is very addictive and shouldn't be prescribed to help with withdrawls. Good luck to you.

I don't think you need Xanax for withdrawals! I did not take it! I have read that Xanax can be very hard to withdrawal from! If possible try to stay away from something like that! Let us know what you have been taking, for how long, and how much per day! Then we can give you better advice on what you might expect from the withdrawal process.

Kind of a dumb question, but do you know how to get a dr. to prescribe me xanax, its one of the ingredients in the thomas recipe and I have tried several drs. they just don't seem to want to prescribe me them even though i've told them the reasons that I would be on them.  I have told them i feel it would help with my withdrawals but they just say they don't think I need something like that.  Very frustrating doctors can be!!!

I havent heard n e1say it helped or not.I would get the stuff from the thomas recipe, amono acid protocol. Most imprtant is name brand immodium(name brand works so much better than generic take generously those1st few days)u need something4sleep,anxiety,if u get restless anything something for that.U can go the otc route for all these things btw.I did some otc(sleep, rls, immodium)but had prescription anxiety meds+clonidine by prescription but unless u take anxiety meds already otc stuff will work fine

Hi bravenewgirl! I bought and took the Withdrawal Ease! I really can't say whether it helped or not! I still had all of the typical withdrawal symptoms! It may have helped some! I still took Immodium, and potassium, and a multivitamin! I still had sleep issues! If I ever (Heaven forbid) had to do it over again, I'm not sure I would spend the money again! I'm not sure this was too helpful, but hopefully others will weigh in!

Share your story if you would like! There are lots of wonderful members here who will give you great advice and support! Take care!
