Anxiety just comes with the wd package...... breathing exercises are great and most libraries have DVD's available for those and several other relaxation methods.. I would also endorse the amino Theanine as a good thing for right now........check the amino acid protocols listed in the Health Pages. Go ahead and use your resources......but be very aware of the consequences.........
My stomach problems always began the day BEFORE detoxing. Anxiety is normal now as you start to feel the symptoms from withdrawal. Your fear of all the symptoms that are now arriving and the fact it is likely consuming every thought about now is causing you great anxiety.
The advice on deep breaths is spot on. Tell yourself that EVERYTHING you are experiencing (including the anxiety) is a simple bodily reaction to being cut-off. If you don't believe it, come here and read and post and see how many others have felt and experienced the exact same things as you have.
As for the ativan, many use them the first handful of days for sleep. I'm not going to tell you to take them. They ARE a low dose but only you know you. Remember how the oc's could be taken only when YOU wanted? Many here report the very same thing with ativan, please remember that.
There is so much advice on this site on how to get through this. The more you learn the more your anxiety will ease. Not sure how big or long-term your habit but I will be happy to answer any questions you have. Message me.

thank you all for quick responce another question i have some 0.5 ativan that a friend give me wondering should i use it or toss it it is a low dose i thought it might help but new to all this
the anxiety was the worst for me. I am sorry I feel so bad for you. Breathe, walk, try and talk to yourself, talk through it. I know it sounds corny, but the breathing helps. I had to get anxiety low dose on day 4 b/c have two small children and I can't risk not sleeping for weeks and driving to day care etc. I took a few for day 4 and 5 and 6 and now today nothing. Anxiety is gone. 6 days clean and it's ok. I feel ok. I thought about scoring, but then thought " why?" for what? To do this again? man, no more. Try to post more and find out what others have done. For me the anxiety was the worst (oh, the nausea was TERRIBLE). Good luck, you can do it. What were you on? how much?
Breathing is GOOD... It may sound sooo simple.. but it works....
Gets the 02 to your brain,,,, which will help you feel better...
When we have anxiety... we have a tendency to shallow breath... so take deep breaths and keep posting...
