Thank you! Day 8

Thank you to everyone who supported me yesterday when I was in a dark place. Its amazing to know that I was so down and craving so hard, that I can get through it with out giving in to the cravings! I owe it to you guys, and my sweet husband. One thing I have learned in my many addictions that you cannot go it alone, and for a (mostly) stay at home mommy, this is a good alternative to treatment or aa. Though I do go to therapy, and I think that is a huge thing when not doing any formal treatment.
So just an update, I am still drained of energy, and motivation to get off my pregnant butt. I sm telling myself it us just the pregnancy, and why shouldn't I feel drained? My body is working hard constantly to make this baby, and I'm also taking care of Erika by myself, and that us wearing as it is. Stuck in the house with an energetic 2 year old! So I guess it is easier to think that way instead of wishing I didn't. I miss that waking up and taking a pill and waiting for that energy to come. But tho it seems the ready way out, it really isn't, because going back to square one, is not an option for me. I would like some suggestions from mommies of at home exercises that I can do safetly at 10 weeks pregnant? Walking out side, while being the best option, is not sm option for me, sd the cold sends my pain levels up. I actually sit in front of a space heater on my legs to keep away the aches and pains. Anyways, I need exercise for the babys health, plus I kno it will make me feel better and give me energy. the frequent trip to the restroom, and to let the dogs out are pretty much the extent of my exercise as of now. Thanks again everyone :)

That would probably do good for my back as well, strengthening the muscles are very important for pain management. Thanks!

get you one of those large blow up balls, you can sit on it in front of the tv and rock back and forth. Your thighs will fill it. Also, lifting the ball in the air is a good exercise. Your 2 yr old will loving playing with it too.

I'm still amazed that our stories are almost exact! And the same name. Lexi and Erika, while exausting, can keep us motivated to get the heck out if bed, and are good for a laugh our a smile. I love my lil girl, but its also hard, because she us attached to me, and constantly wants physical contact, new since being prego, and I do get irritated at her. I hope the morning sickness eases soon. I actually found that I puked after taking a pill while tapering, thats when I knew it was time to stop. At 11 wks, your stomache should settle down son.

I look up to what you are doing. It is great that you are going stong at 8 days. I look forward to being there, although I am proud of myself for weaning myself off. If I thought it was safe without my doctor knowing, I wouldnt take the one pill am taking a day. But I am going to be where your at as soon as I see my doctor.  Your so right about the pregnancy draining you, im there too, and puking all the time and keeping up with my two year old little girl, Lexi. We can do this! Im thankful to have someone kinda going thru the same thing as me to talk to:) im also thankful for everyone else here who has been helpful and supportive!
