Day 4 Clean

Ok I am on day 4 now with no hydrocodone's. I have a question? I was taking between 5-9 7.5 mg hydrocodone for the last 8 years everyday. I have never missed a day until 4 days ago. The withdrawls are still here but I do feel a little bit better today. Can someone tell me how long this will last knowing how long I was on them and the amount I was taking?

Oh yes, the no sleep part is no fun and was the worst! Sorry about the RLS...are you eating bananas? Do that and take additional potassium supplements. I've also heard of hyland's RLS (all natural supplement) and some swear by it. The mood swings will even out. You're doing great and it will get better!

Also I am experiencing no sleep at night, legs are going crazy, mood swings in the evening, not much anxiety though. I try to stay active during the day time..

I will be 42 years old on the 25th of this month. I took 2 pills at a time about every 3-4 hours. Sometimes I would average 5 pills a day and other times I would over take and consume up to 9 pills a day. I weigh 220 Lbs.

You should be over the hump or close to it. Give yourself goal days, like day 7 and compare it to day 1. Then day 10, etc. You'll start to notice a difference with each milestone. Remember that detoxing is a series of peaks and valleys, good days and bad days, and not a steady incline of feeling better. Eventually those valley's come around less and less, but the roller coaster is completely normal. For me day 14 was a good point and then day 20 was a huge turning point in how I was feeling. Just take it day by day and stay as patient as you can. You're making a wonderful decision and it will be so worth it very soon!

Hi Hope. So you say you took 5-9 a day for 8 years and never ran out before???..You followed your scrip right as told on bottle?? The reason why I ask is that could make a small different..Everybody's time frame is a bit different but sometimes the same..It depends on Age, How Long, How Many, And how many you popped at once in your mouth. What are you experiencing now..The detox seem to have stages, like high anxiety to no sleep, body aches, no-motivation, anger and or depression..I am glad you have deiced to stop or I sure hope you do..Let us know more..
Bless

Hey! Today may be your breakthrough day! The time frame is different for everybody! A lot of people start seeing BIG changes between days 4-6. For me it was day 8! Take it day by day...choice by choice and KNOW that you are doing a great thing for yourself! NO TURNING BACK NOW!
