GOD IS SO GOOD!!!

hey everyone....i havent posted in a lil min! but im doin very well! ive been tryin to get all my speeding tickets worked out to where i can do community service at my church...one said i could and ive been doin it for a month now....i thaught the other court date in the other parish was not til next week but....it was 2 days ago so ther was a warrent issued for my arrest on that day...well today i called the DA and told them i have no car no jod single mother wit no help from babydaddy and asked if i could do the community service....she said NO...so i called my 2nd cousin/uncle that is the sherrif in that parish and told him what i was tryin to do and he said just bring me the paper work and ill get ya all set up! so that was just awesome to hear b/c i really had noway to pay that to get it taken care of! so my reason for this post is to let everyone no that GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS AND HE IS SO GOOD TO US WHEN WE NEED HIM! hope everyone is doin well! i love u guys! So happy for you baby that your prayers were answered and all worked out well for you. You have been working so hard at this and I am so very proud of you hun. You have come such a long way in such a short time! You keep on keeping on my girl!!!  You know I love you baby!

I agree with Cathy you are indeed to your own opinion but that is what it is...YOUR own opinion so it should of been on your own thread...You say that the change of attitude on Jenz part was from the help of others, which is true BUT if you would re read all her posts and most others it is help from other addicts that are showing love and PRAYERS her way...
This is a place to help ppl NOT to try and undermind and put ppl down....I dont care if it takes prayer, screaming or whatever you have to do to get in control of your addiction, and to come on and put someone down in any sense of the word is just plan wrong and you should be ashamed of yourself...I really honestly shouldnt of even lowered myself to your level to respond to your nonsense BUT Jen has come along way and for you to try and cut that down in anyway just makes me want to scream!!!!!
So if you have anything else to say about this matter i would appreciate if you would make your own thread which i will not get on and cut you down cuz its your thread or pm me...just leave other threads alone!!!

no one asked you to read this post.  it was jenz post and her feelings.  this is an open forum and she is welcome to post her feelings just as you are.  problem is if you wanna post your feelings start your own thread...dont come here and disrespect hers...then type no disrespect intended...thats cr@p.  jen is my daughter and has come so very far in her recovery..you have NO idea.  do not come here and try to undermine her recovery.  i personally think you should get a life....obviously you have nothing better to do than criticise ppl who are here trying to get help.   i personally dont give a flip what you think, but you offended my daughter and thats fighting grounds for me.  back off.  and by the way, i will keep you in my prayers and ask others her to do the same.  prayer changes ppl.  look at my daughter if you need proof!!!!

I, too, congatulate you on your successes ... but the spectre of religious proselytizing on this site has me cocerned.

Certainly if religion has, in the opinions of many of your well-wishers, helped you (in your opinions) beat addiction, more power to you -- but it, in my opinion, a separate thread should be created for those who find succor via their interpretion of the supernatural.

Again, I'm happy that you've found peace of mind and wish you all the best.

It's just that I personally find it contradictory that this change of attitude, which, when reading your post, involved help on the part intervention of human relatives ... no offence or disrespect intended, and, please, none taken, but your conviction that some type of divine intervention occurred isn't entirely convincing.

Perhaps this post will be construed as cynical, but why, then, do so many of us fall prey to the horror that is addiction?
